Aye Aye Chaps.. been a long time since i shore fished up at the mull but im going back early may for a few days.

I remember the flat rock south of east tarbet, walk to the big farmers wall then down from the road to lighthouse...

I remember the flat rock south of west tarbet high up.. which you park in west tarbet and walk south and find it..

but - i cannot remember where the cove (as you stand on a rock its to ya right, was pictured in sea angler) is with the monster pollock, where is it again and what do i look for to get down to it...

and any other good marks anyone can reconmend for a good pollock / huss / conger up there.

if you go to ardwell marine in ardwell bay the tackle shop sells ordinance survey maps with all the marks written down on them and the fish you catch from these marks there is also a board outside the shop which tells you what species were caught and where the previous 24 hours

Because you will catch better fish from the easier to reach and more comfortable stances. The big pollack
Move all the way around the mull shoreline down where east and west Tarbet are. It seriously is not worth the effort an risk, I've fish the mull on my doorstep for 25 years an my best fish have came from the flat rock
Area such as tope, huss and big pollack, I've even had a cuckoo ray off the high seat

Happy hunting though wherever you end up

There are hundreds of marks all down the west side which are capable of producing big pollack, if you're prepared to walk a fair bit.
