Moved across the bay to Bundeena, staying on a beach front house for the next 4 weeks. Got speaking to some locals and 100 yards from the house is a local hotspot and there is another about 400 yards away. On first trip had snapper, travelly, tailor & flathead upto 3lb. Last night right in front of the house had a 10lb bango shark, that stopped the wife swimming today. Some locals this afternoon were catching nurse sharks upto about 20lb. I'm planning a full day out tommorrow will post catch report.

Weather is poor, its their coldest start to summer for 50 years, however its warm compared to summers back home. I've caught 10 different species now and I'm going to target Jewfish next, a few of the locals have put me onto a mark. You need to be very careful on the rocks as although there is only about 1.3 metres between High & low water you get swells of upto 3 metres which can wash you off, and your straight into deep water. Given that I'm fishing by myself I'm not taking any chances and fishing safe venues. CODMAN the wife is fine with the fishing arrangement as the water is only 20 yards from the front door and thats where I caught the shark. PS enjoy the Xmas Social and don't forget to use size 6 hooks.
