swinging a fish round for entertainment????no,trying to stop a seagull eating a fish off my hook which would of caused it alot more trouble and pain,i wasnt swinging fish around,but avoiding the bird,nothing else i could of done,as for the rest of your bible,i rarley fish summer,im a winter fisherman,i do have respect for people and my surroundings,i tidy up after myself and other people,i do use 30lb line,along with 60lb to compensate my 6oz sinker,and i wouldnt and didnt try and kick a seagull,

to clear things up,i wasnt swinging the fish round on my hook,it was just the easiest way to describe it in my post,i wasnt teasing the bird,i was moving the fish away from the bird by moving my feet slowly in a clockwise direction 360 degrees,i dont condone someone trying to kick the bird,and doj,you shouldnt judge a person by shoes they wear,im not a scumbag,i dont drink beers or cause offence to anybody on piers,i do tidy up,im educated more than you think,not that i need to explain myself to someone like you

condoning loutish juvenile antics in public places when did i do that i c all sorts ov numties every summer half cut threating people leaving fishing spots like a tip iv burnt many a pile ov plastic paper line etc do it every year nothing i hate more and its getting worse but we have a 50 yard stretch ov pier and if any body leaves litter crap acts like a muppet thay get told most times it works some times it dosent when we leave we clean the place any way i want 2 fish it next year

Well I thought the original post was funny as owt,well writen aswell

Anyway,cruelty.Theres a fish swimming along looking for its dinner,picks up a tasty morsel and WHACK!!!!Its heed is nearly detached from its body as the angler strikes!Said fish is then pulled,terrified,to the shore over sharp rocks and then lifted on to dry land,where it doesn't belong.THEN!Some chaps start taking photos of the critter for about 5 mins before putting the exhausted fish back in the water,where it does belong.
Then,they come on here and tell us the fish went back"unharmed",ready to fight another day

What we do is a blood sport.Get used to it.

To be fair, the lad needs a break, ffs he's told a tale of an incident that happened, where a kid ends up losing a shoe whilst trying to kick a poxy sea gull! Hardly crime of the century!
Its always the same, the "It wasnt like that in my day brigade" slating the kids fishing on the pier. Young lads have always clarted on fishing for macky, drinking etc, done it myself, doesnt make them the sub human scum, that they are potrayed as by some.
Far too many riding high horses on here, that have fogot what its like to be a teenager.
