solid inside mate all stainless steel and parts for them are not a problem i use 14lb and 18lb and have had no problems with them

These reels are going to last for years. Avet are an established brand in the us. Nothing Korean about them?

ours came today still waiting for a purple 1 though got them with no mags in this time the look lively will sharp find out as i do,nt have to wait till xmas
fantastic reels.last a life time not a bit of plastic on them and they cast far enough to catch fish,used mine in the tyne and off the beaches,most beaches round here you dont need to cast miles anyway.and not a boat reel,they are used for chuckin lures for bass ect in america.

A still couldn't get away with using a leverdrag reel for casting, still looks a canny solid reel, but would be a rock reel for me.
Think I'll stick with Penn though, there reels have always seemed to have a 100% track record with me, a simply cannot fault them in any way, thats why there the best of the best, and all me multipliers are Penn.
Though I am debating whether to tempt myself to get one of the reels you showed in the last picture (the 7HT mag, which knowing me a probably get
)!

It just looks like a tuned up boat reel to me, its got a lever drag!
Penn 525 would leave it behind on casting field, it'll weigh a ton on the rod, it looks probably made from solid metal.
Mind u if its what ya want from your shore reel than happy days
Looks a great reel to me and defo would like to handle one.
That's not a lever drag mate it looks to me the drag is in the centre of the handle...that big chrome knurled nut.The lever is the free spool selector just like the penn 525.
It will be a cast aluminum frame same as the diawa 7hts so nice and ridged frame.
Magnet controlled so no reason why this reel carnt cast a long way.....I like it.
Can I ask who is the UK importer please, oh

Looking at it again the drag might be like the triton reels adjustable tension on the selector level so could be some what of a level drag yes. but nowt wrong with that.

they crack in half handles break just had two of mine done but agree still good reels love mine aswell

Mr Harry Barker tempted me quite a bit there, and a may just buy one of these reels, but when u say cracked in half and snapped, are you talking about the avet reel or summit else???

Yes Harry, it's similar to the shimano reels from a few years back in that respect. When you hold one in your hands and have fiddle with it, you know you then you want one.

Andy, harra had one a few years back, got it off steve taarland and it chucked like a dream. I think hes still got it but think it needed a part.
As for sticking with what you know.....its like women...the one your with is nice and comfy....the one next door is sexy as fook and you want to try it cos it looks the dogs danglies! Know what i mean!!!

Stan.....why did you get them with the mags out mate ? Must admit they do look nice and have a 50/50 split so far as to whether they can produce or not.
