My Dilemma

Any of you lot superstitious? Well I'm not , I'll walk under ladders , break mirrors , step on the cracks in the pavement , pass folk on the stairs and all that .............. BUT , I'm in a bit of a Dilemma , you see , I wear a hat when I'm fishing , I wear it to look suave and sophisticated and right at the forefront of fashion (really it's because my baldy patch burns in the sun :red
Anyway , reading a thread about inconsiderate divers where Norman took umbrage with their "stupid aussie hats" I thought I'd play a little joke on Norman and buy a stupid aussie hat and wear it when I posted a pic of me with a fish , the joke backfired cos Norman was on holiday when I posted the pics so all that happened was I put some pics up of me wearing a stupid aussie hat.......... the problem is , and hence the dilemma , since I bought this stupid aussie hat and took it on the boat , I've had the best fishing ever since I started boat fishing , now is it just a coincidence ...... or is it a magic hat I'm not taking it off the boat any time soon anyway.

I think its a magic hat but of course we fishermen are not in any way superstitious ........... hmmm let me think what could be a superstitious act? ... clothes, shoes, fishing bag, ... lol music ... nah not in the slightest superstitious .....

Hmmm , how do I put the lottery on wearing my magic hat , do I wear it to the shop while I buy the ticket or wear it while I'm sitting in the house waithing for the numbers to be drawn either way it means bringing it off the boat and no amount of lottery winnings is worth spoiling my fishing for

Ha ha Norm, is it a proper divers hat? I'll get you one each for the slinky crew if you want Make them all wear one for luck I have to confess I only put it on for the pictures , except I took one in the marina first to make sure I got one while the boat was stationary .......... should have seen the looks I got off folk passing by whilst I was trying to take the pic
Hope you had a good holiday , but now it's time to get back out there and catch some fish

Ray - I'm superstitious (touch wood) and I say keep wearing the hat...I wear (generally) the same garb for every trip (cleaned of course) for that very reason
