here's your answer Norman, we had to go back to the top and get a phone signal and then off we went again, that is after the drivers went down and cleared a way through all the boulders that came down.

This is the view from the bottom to the top 2,874mtrs above sea level, the last 2,000 you travel no more than quarter of a mile. A lot of the time if you went over the edge, well bye bye.

It his its rewards though, the highest pub in Africa

Bert it only rained for about an hour hard then just drizzled, we actually had hailstones as well, down where we came from they where basking in sunshine and 35 degrees, they knew something was up when a tree came down the river and cracked into the bridge.
