how bigs the boundaries for most ne matches ,are they amble pier to tynemouth pier .how many miles does that cover.
ive fished amble open once and it was a fair trek from newcastle.

Most opens seem to fish from Amble to Tynemouth, or maybe the Ice House.
(both piers excluded, Blyth west pier usually included)

Must be about 25 miles of coast.

The weigh-in I think you\'ll find is normally around the centre of the comp area....eg.
Shiremoor open this weekend....Newbiggin....it\'s approx 20-25 mins from both Amble and Tynemouth, so.....could just be a case if you\'ve got a good haul it pays to leave that little bit earlier, rather than risk waiting for another fish and missing the weigh-in.

Just my opinion anyway!!
