me and the miss are going to holy island tomorrow and are thinking about taking the rods. has anyone ever fished there a for or heard what it is like. any info would be appreciated

From what I've heard there is only certain places you can fish from there. Good cod grounds on certain parts and good flattie ground on other parts. You'll need to phone the authorities to see where you can fish from first. (unless I was getting told utter bollox)

a few mackie off blyth pier and that was as good as it got.

holy has some good fishing.the causeway and bedes island are good for flats and to the left of the castle has some good heavy shots for cod. just check your tide table thats all.you dont need to phone nobody

looks like fishing is the favourite,just make any excuse to get out ,and catch sommit and report back to base
