Neist Point - Isle of Skye

Just returned from a few days fishing up at one of my favourite marks - Neist Point. Excellent fishing as always, between 3 of us we caught easily over 60 pollock to 9lb, plenty of mackerel so much so that we had to switch tactics as they were becomming a pest, also caught a couple of nice cod to 6lb, a conger (didn't weigh it) and a few doggies. Almost all of the fish were returned bar a couple that were too deep hooked that we kept for the pan. Up to the east coast of Scotland for a week or so next week...Can't wait! If any of you have been before you will know that it is one hell of a walk, but in decent weather it can be looked upon as a beautiful scenic stroll...

Here are a few photos of the Skye trip, no particular order some of Neist Point and others of the nearby surrounding area, not the best quality as they were taken on my phone rather than digi camera.

Neist Point can be seen on this photo, it is the very far left tip of the area on the horizon, this was taken whilst scouting for new marks:

A good report m8 and classic pics too but only one showing a solitary fish it wouldof been better seeing more of your catch but never mind as long as you enjoyed your trip and good luck on your next trip to Scotland:D:D:D:D

The pollock were taken on spinners and jelly worms (bright orange ones and black ones with orange/red tales) were doing the job.
The cod and conger were taken on lug and mackerel lobbed about 50 yards out.

I know James, I should have taken more photos of the fish but we were keen to get them back in the water as soon as possible, and I didnt really want to keep getting my phone out as I have a habit of losing phones when fishing.

Cracking mate, great report and pics!! Fished it last summer! Easily the best mark I've fished in the UK!!! Great stuff!
