on a similar thread..on the Gateshead theme. Me and the missus play a game on the high street..called pastie baby.you get 5 points for every body you see eating from a greggs bag...but for the kid in a pram or buggie eating one you get 20 points...(Ive just read this back to mesell..and think i need to get out more.)..lol.

I was in Greggs the other week ,oh the shame ,the only shop I know where the lasses ,or pastie hoyers as they are otherwise know still shout out FIVE or TEN when they get a note...

I have a theory that Greggs employ an army of bag chuckers who visit all of our major towns through the night and chuck piles of bags down onto the roads, pavements etc,etc,. The local folk come out the next day, see the bags and decide that they are hungry which in turn leads them to the nearest Greggs shop resulting in massive profits for them
