ita always tough talking fly on nesa only a handfull of fly fishers.
i think they like to keep it a secret start of with a local meet of nesa fly guys
somewhere like sharpley or aldin or try and sort a meet in pub have a crack and take it from there
Good idea, but not to travel that far south ( apart from kielder ) Like terry says just start off in a few local stillwaters and take it from there. there are more fly fishing lurkers on NESA than we think
you not got nice spare vice lurking around.
wouldnt mind doing a car share scheme splitting fuel costs and fishing a few different stillwaters.mind you i am also a beginner do love thrashing around in the water, but thats a different story :red:
i used to travel down to south wales for the odd session out, so just as far as grafham etc, but these days after a hectic and long week at work couldnt be bothered to travel half that distance,
Local still waters would be ok or say within maybes 50-60 miles
aye the man in the boat a met on roker pier ...talked a good session he did ..but only about fluff stuff ..i had to leg it a few times saying or there is a bite ( pretending ) ..cos a hadnt a clue what the hell he was preaching to a sea angler
