NESA Species Hunt 2013

Dab added.

Lads I am away on the south coast for two weeks from tomorrow so it may take a while to get around to adding your fish to the table but keep posting your pictures and if I can find any wi-fi places I will add them whenever I can. Hopefully I will have a few fish to add myself too :)

Have a good trip Mike and stay safe, looking at the forecast for Weymouth Chesil might be a bit on the dangerous side to fish for a few days

Table updated.

Here's three for me which puts me in second place :)

Yep that's 100% a cork wing wrasse , well done

They are quite common on the south coast, I probably caught far more Corkwings than Ballans when I lived down there.

A good catch for you Mike, doubt there will be many others with a Corkwing on the species hunt. All you need now is a settled spell and a Black Bream

First picture is a bit meh, second picture is fairly clear if you draw an imaginary line vertically upwards from the anal vent. It does have large eyes which are a characteristic of Poor Cod but the position of the anal vent in relation to the dorsal fin is the definitive id feature
