Think it may b a pollock Some 1 told me a good way to tell a coley from a pollock is coley tail has a v in end and Pollocks is flat n tha looks flat to me

martin i said the 3 ways to tell are, pertruding bottom jaw, lateral line and the prodominent v in the tail,

laterel line is the clear feature tho

That's a sea scorpion u not hav tha as a blenny if I can't hav my pollock and Huss for that matter! Lol

But All of mine are lure caught so should get double the points ;-)

That pink thing was travelling at some speed !! Did you see it ??

I know it can be hard to tell coalfish and Pollack apart especially when juvenile but the protruding lower jaw and lateral lines are the signs, as well as the big eyes. Couple of pics I took last year with a coalfish amongst Pollack might make it easier to tell when they're side by side.
