NESA Species Hunt 2014

The second one is definitely long spined - the gill flaps are joined at the throat. Not sure about the first one did it have a separate gill flap that is just lying against the throat or was it joined ? Like this...

The first one is a long spined, apart from the long spines you can see the white lappets on the upper jaw in the ventral pic of it.
