Was chatting today about scattering ashes and Berwick Pier was mentioned. in all the time i have been on hear don't think i have ever heard anything about it, catch reports etc. Can you fish it and is it a good summer, winter mark???........curious.

I tried fishing it when up that way and the river side for me was a total waste of time. The tide is just far too strong there and you end up alongside the pier even with a 6oz gripper! The sea side wasn't as bad but only picked up a coalie when I was there. Never fished it before and only had runny down (was at a caravan with the family but sneaked my rod in anyway lol). I'm sure there'll be people with better experiences on here though
