found this pciture of some old tub on the server (!) so thought I\'d take the liberty of sticking it up! Looks just the job, It\'d drive me nuts If I\'d bought something that good, but had to wait for the weather to take it out and play - hope there\'s a decent break soon for her christening!

Same as Norman\'s Bob , Volvo 105 turbo . Looked hard at the Nanni and it was a good engine , but I thought the Volvo had the edge .

Whats that picture Mark , can\'t see nought ?

that\'s better, just went brain dead for a mo\', well its friday afternoon. It amazing how many times I can mis-spell a word with only 4 letters

:( Sitting hear with a lump in me throat, a tear in me eye and a heavy heart, lads.

Daves\' \"Poacher\" was the 1st small boat I\'d been fishing on.

Got lots of good sized fish, (including the infamous 6lb Pollack, which incidently was caught on a 6/0 hook, flowing trace baited with squid. NO pirk invovement, whatsoever.......lol), my 1st (and only-so far) double figure Cod, but most of all, loads of happy memories of the Summer of 2003. All thanks to Dave taking me & Ian out on \"some old tub\".
I hope she\'s going to somebody who looked after her the way you did, Dave.

That \"Dolly\" looks a bit of a goer, though.... ;)

That Dolly looks a bit of a goer - How dare you Tony , Dolly was my mum\'s name . All that talk about the sailors in our house is untrue ;)

Plenty more good times in store though m8 ( Sorry for to see her go though :( )

Mark, that is my old boat :P . Tried to post new pic but file too big , how do I resize ( In simple terms please )

in simple terms...email me the pic and I\'ll resize it for you:
[email protected] (take out the fish to make the address valid)

otherwise you\'ll need some image editing software, photoshop or something like it

Think I\'ve posted this before, I just use a free program called Irfanview, just do a google and you\'ll find it.

Open the pic, then click on Image, resize/resample.

I\'m in the process of trying to write a php script for the server where the images are going that will automatically resize for you when you upload, so no matter how big your pic is, it\'ll end up around 450pixels wide. I\'ve got it working at the moment, but want to simplify at as much as poss

Mark , Keith ,

Thanks for all your efforts , much appreciated . I\'ve had a bit play with workshop pro and sussed out how to re-size . Am I right in assuming anything under 1kb is ok to post ?

Dave, the pic you sent me was 640 x 480 pixels (50kb) which i reckon should been ok, I only resized it to 512 x 384 (33kb)

anything under 1meg actually, (it might of been 10meg come to think of it - need to check) but anything upto 1meg (1000k) will be ok

Hell of a boat Dave, Beautiful, I\'m going down the marina tomorrow for the first time in months, I\'ll have a peek. Have you got her in the same moorings.

Marc - just up from you @ 34 .

Aye John , she\'ll be right when we head for the \"Graveyard\" on one of our comps next year . Would be nice to organise another \"Do\" out of Amble , I think everyone had a good day out .

Hi Dave , looks like it may be a decent day Sunday 7th (tomorra) are you away this weekend?

ps for anyone really I think the pic sizing problem is being overcooked, use the standard microsoft photoed.exe which comes with windows and should well be on everyones pc. go to top bar, along to image then down to resize. Pick your percentage then save as a new mae (or save to overwrite the original) no special packages required
