I have a big plastic laundry basket in my boot I put me waders and wet gear in, stops making the boot carpet damp and stinkin!

break your nose a few times and you will never smell anyhting, I could never smell the wondeful aromas my wife used to go on about "wish you could smell this"

had me nose broke three times with boxing & straightened twice and i can still smell my stinky crabs lol steve o just get a tarpaulin and a big gorilla bucket and put your gear in their like the lads have suggested

like the others have said use a boot liner and bucket to put your gear in. I use air conditioning cans as well. you set them off, then close all the doors a nd leave for a bit.

omg the cod sh!t that was collected over the winter months it just wudnt go away unbelievable pong ,pleased the scrap place took it there and then good price anarl + cod crap :D

Good advice with the fabric spray, while your up asda buy a fresh lemon cut it in half and leave it over night leaves a nice fresh smell

best advise ,get a lift off someone.our lass went mad the 1st time i used our?her new car.keep a fabreeze behind the seat ,spray in the air not on the carpets/seats,dont let anything get wet in the boot or on the seats, and hand wipes in the door pocket to wipe ya hands before and after ya drive.all good advise but ya got to get off ya rrrrs when ya get home streight away, the longer ya leave the **** in the longer it takes to get rid of the smell.

Surprised no one has mentioned vinegar. Works great at killing pet and fresh paint odours.

White vinegar is an excellent odour neutraliser and wet cleaner if used relatively quickly on spills and pet urine ,should work the same with fishy bits.

The way to use malt vinegar is to leave a small bowl of malt vinegar in the car overnight. It doen't leave an old chip shop smell like you think it would.

cut a few lemons in half & leave them in the car, very good to pull all the smells out ya motor, even gets rid of the smell of smoke in a car !

You could get one of those large lined dog blankets for the boot, used for when you dog decides to jump in the local pond. Then your damp gear wont sink in and stink your car out. and when the blanket stinks chuck it in the washer.. oh and like spoonface says White vinegar works a treat too :)
