Capello has resigned! England will be in turmoil before another tournament yet again.
It has to be Harry part time til end of season in my opinion then full time after that.

dunno why people are saying get redknapp in....maybe jose mourhino?...as the only cups he hasnt won is the euro and world cup.

good on him. There's a principle at stake - you'd think the manager should have the final say over who captains his team - not some quasi political committee

If they don't back down and re-instate him, England deserve nothing better than to be back home after 3 games and FA chairman David Bernstein and general secretary Alex Horne should be made answerable

I personally think in this instance the FA got it right and Capello was wrong.

John Terry is an absolute joke of a human being and is without a doubt a racist clown in my eyes.

With the Euros coming up and this thing hanging over him it was absolutely right for John Terry to taken out of the picture and now with Capello gone his chances of playing the tournament are pretty much gone too (expect international retitrement statement at some point soon)

He's as innocent as the buffoon 'Arry...the jury were hoodwinked by celebrity and no doubt will be for John Terry too

After the incredible job he's done at Manchester United over the years, there is only one man for the England job.

Howard Webb.

It's got to be Martin O'Neill. The job he's done with the pile of sh*te he's got now deserves international recognition. If not him then I would say the wa**er.

hahahahaha theres always one :D :D they are taking about england and then someone pops up and gans on about sunderland.

Capello should have the say who is captain and who is not and who ever comes in will still pick terry and i cant see terry giving a international retitrement statement.

plus there is always something crops up the head of a big tournament.

Nope the FA got it wrong capello should of been involved in the discussion
about terry but he wasn't and he was the manager and had no say now we haven't got a captain or a manager and the euros are just round the corner
good old FA they haven't clue.

or perhaps there's more too it....

Have to agree with you there, whatever you think as long as a trial was going to drag past the Euros then the press would be banging on about it and it would rumble right through the summer. Knock it out and move on.

Whether he's racist or not is not the issue it's the utter chaos he's caused. Let him play football and get Harry in. Then we can harpoon Terry if he's convicted

Harry houdini for me, someone with motivational skills rather than a foreigner that speaks English like a 2 year old. Never liked cappello even with his phenomenal club record.

i think the FA were wrong and capello was right in this instance, a man is presumed NOT GUILTY until he is found GUILTY by a jury of his peers,

I can just imagine ferguson sitting still saying nowt if the glazers tried to tell him how to run his squad, who to pick, who not to pick etc etc,
Mourinio left chelsea for exactly the same reason, red rom having to much say in the team, and look whats happened to chelsea since he left.

On a personal note i think Terry is guilty, but you know what thought done, thought you had farted til you looked, then you realised you had sh!t yourself :D:D:D:D:D

Shearer be a gd choice but dn t think he would with the money . Jose be gd or even the come bck for kevin keegan

Personally I'm pleased he's gone irrespective of how/why its happened.

Now its time to get an Englishman back in charge of the national team, some one who wants to win because ENGLAND is HIS country, HIS national team, not some foreigner doing it just beacuse its job.
A manager who can inject the passion and pride back into English national football, I don't believe a foreign manager can do that.

Now the FA have a problem on their hands though as who is available ??

Redknapp - I don't think Spurs will be wanting him to leave (part time or not) considering where he's got them this season.
Shearer - certainly has the pride and passion but no management experience other than the few games as temp manager at the Toon, which has to be said he didn't do very well at.
Keegan - again pride and passion but not a very good track record.
Venables - to controversial for the FA
McLaren - Hope to god his name doesn't even enter the equation.
Steve Bruce - Ha ha ha ha ha .......
Roy Hodgson - ???? doing ok at W.Brom

So who else then ????
