Then I joined all the rabbit forums in the world to get advice on what to do with the little fella and started world war 111

So we bought him a house

you want anymore??

we get one or 2 a day in the house at the minute, aren't cats such generous creatures

mostly minus their heads (why do they only eat the bonce?) but regulalry one is still fighting fit and makes a break for it as soon as its in the house.

even headless they are high on the cute factor as most of them are so small they fit in the palm of your hand, and being headless they are much cheaper to feed

Can Jack Russells and rabbits live together in harmony? I have heard differing opinions about wild rabbits in captivity

The wee lthing is feeding and pooing and doesn't seem to mind being handled, I dont think he/she would last a day if I put him back in the wild. My love for the furry mite might change when it gets to about 1kg

If you choose to live in a wigwam / teepee in the children's zoo part of a Stately Home you will get the rabbits ;)

Live in a normal house and apart from humans the only animals you'll get bothered by is neighbours

hmmnn, the words onions, carrots, bay leaves and gas mark 7 spring to mind :D

It's okay I understand but I cant understand how I like the little fellow so much, I think it's cos the rabbit community of GB let me down so much

I can think of lots of things to do with it's soft fur

During the rationing my dad got rabbits with the intention of fattening them up, breeding them, and of course turning them into meals for the family. Yep, they all ended up as pets, didn't have it in him to kill any of them :D

Mark - funny that, mum's last cat was the same, decapitated mouse bodies everywhere when she'd been out on the prowl...

Our pet rabbits used to get out of the hutch and we never found them again when I was a bairn ...............I was eighteen when my Dad owned up to serving them up for dinner .Mind you I still love rabbit pie .

I wish butchers still sold Rabbit - I'd have some no bother...might have to get meself a rifle and just do it myself :o

Never eaten rabbit myself, but I didn't know butchers had stopped selling them? I know I used to see them in the one next to the market in blyth and in the grainger market in town.. never noticed them not being there...
