Hi all at N.E.S.A i\'ve decided to take the plunge and actively join in. I\'ve been a lurker for some months now and thought what the hell give it a go. I,m from Hartlepool (NO MONKEY HANGER JOKES PLEASE) we\'ve already got a monkey for mayor!! (NO JOKING)
I fish mainly the colliery beaches and Hartlepool and have been known to catch from time to time.

Welcome to NESA and I\'m glad you \"took the pluge\"....... I\'m sure you will be, too. It\'s great for those times when you just can\'t get out to fish........mind you, I\'ve found that one of the main reasons for me not getting out, is that I\'ve been too busy on here......lol

a quick question though if i may ..did all the trees grow back down your neck of the woods ? i thought it was a real shame to cut them down

Cheers lads for the welcome it\'s nice to feel accepted. LOL Bri bones nice one mate you puzzled me there for a minute. :D
On a serious note though the mayor has been instrumental in getting government grants for more fruit in schools for kids. Yes you\'ve guessed it bananas lol. Now on a more relevant fishy note anyone out at the weekend, i fancy a bash locally if the winds swing around. The fishing hasn\'t been to bad down Hartlepool when the seas away. I fished Middleton a fortnight ago same time as the three big north east opens and had cod to five pound as well as the usual whiting. I would say in all there were five fish around the five pound mark caught on various baits, that said there must have been at least sixty rods out.

im out friday and saturday though where hasnt been decided ,depends on sea state and wind etc,cambois is looking like a no no after the last trip up,fancy mill dam or north shields for a change ,at least the water will be deep ,that said i think the lads are attached to elastic tied off somewhere up the blyth end as they keep wanting to head north,anyone know what the conditions are going to be like ????
 
bri i am doing an all day all night on saturday. Might start off at jarrow bu then ill pop 2 mill damm for a few chucks , maybe i might see you there, let me no on friday wat time you are going etc.........if ya descide to go there m8
 
Welcome mate, Hartlepool eh? well thats fine with all the lads on here, youre welcome to hang around here,..Its a swinging site..but its not everyones...cup of tea...The comps are good, friendly like, not all streamers and baboons tho but good anyway, sorry, I mean balloons.

Hey up N.E.S.A.\'S got its very own comedian, i\'m surprised you can still joke after the weekend CHELSEA and all that :o come down to Hartlepool for some real football entertainment and the fishin\'s not bad. :D

Thanks for the welcome Hiram. Sorry about the low punch but there\'s only some many monkey jokes a man can take and hey Kevin Keegan\'s thinking about a comeback North when he\'s finished at city :P

Cheers for the comrarderie Ell us southerners have to stick together :cool: You been out fishing lately Ell, i might have a session at the weekend if the sea comes away, there\'s loads of whitey\'s getting caught down here at the moment there every bloody where. Small exception to the rule my friend fished seaton beach tuesday night and had three bass biggest two and a half pounds. :D
