New Phone

Mine has got an alarm clock on it that makes a noise + a snooze function it is accurate to a minute. I would recommend it as if you don't get up then you'll never be able to take photos or even talk to people on the phone. I want a phone with a built in lighter.

well it's interesting (to me at least) but I've just backed up all my photos from the last two phones (and found 150 odd from the one before that on a flash drive) and including all the video clips as well I've got over 1000 odd pics and videos that wouldn't have perhaps been taken if I'd been lumbering about with a seperate camera

photos/videos when drunk (canny few :D)
photos/videos when fishing (LOTS of them :red:)
photos/videos when holidaying
photos/videos when seeing old friends

Glastonbury (not going this year :()

photos that would not have happened if I didn't ALWAYS carry a phone ;)

OK the quality is never going to be comparable to a stand alone, designed for all singing all dancing camera but some of these pics are pretty good for what I use it for...;)

still humming and haa'ing over the upgrade but there's at least 2 in the frame now...the Satio and Experia

a little nikon coolpix or summats, smaller than the phone, cheaper than the phone and less problematic (expensive!) next time you drop it in the drink!

oh aye... and buy some trousers with 2 pockets in em!

My last phone was a blackberry, the only good thing i can say about that was it took a canny photo, but it was a pile of crap otherwise, did'nt see my contract out before many things broke on it.

I've got the wife's 18 month old iphone now and its spot on, can't take video's on it tho as its an older model. The touch screen is easy to use and does'nt dial up all your mates when its in ya pocket.

:D Handy for camping and setting light to leaves in autumn, can I have one as well :present:

I've got the Nokia E63 which is spot on but you need an external GPS to work the maps.....The Nokia E72 is very similar, but a bit posher and has a built in GPS. I get unlimited web browsing, unlimited email, unlimited texts, 300 free 3 to 3 minutes as well as 60 cross netowrk minutes for £15 per month through 3 and am very happy....Don't call that much so it's spot on.
I think the E72 is around £20 per month for similar terms and I think the camera is 3mp rather than the 2mp that mine has, but it takes decent enough pics for me.

They both come with google maps pre-installed as well so handy for finding those gullies where the fish hide!

Well it's an iPhone that's not an iPhone - kind of like a Golf but not...

I think it's great :)

Touch screen - fine (even for my sausage fingers)
Camera - fine
Android operating system - google-tastic!

very handy little gadget...just going to download "toss a coin" and "magic 8 ball" then I'm sorted :D

and I'm sure it even has a lighter function as well...
