I've just bought a brand spanker Shimano Super Aero 1000 GT for little dosh,any opinions on these reels for LRF lads?
I know its a rear drag but thats what I'm used to,and what a tidy and solid wee thing it is!
Just need me new rod and braid and lures and flouro.............

it should be fine just try not to dunk it rear drags dont like the salt

Get a rockfish 6.11 rod from moonfleet for £25ish and some braid , lrf fun

Thanks boys,how do those rods compare with the Bushwhackers?Obviously theres a fair price difference but since I'll not be doing too much lrf,will the cheapy be ok?
