New rod for the summer?

Already have a 2-4oz bass rod and a selection of spinning rods, but what I\'m after is something that can cast 1-3oz a good distance and would be suitable for flattie bashing, heavy spinning and plugging, preferably with a stiffish action and be suitable for a small baitcasting multiplier?

Cheers lads,
Rob.

Have a look at the R.T. range Rob. There are a few different ones so you might find one that is comfy.
I gota R.T. last year and Tony has one that has a bit more strength to it.You thinking of taking up shore fishing like Rob lol. ;)
Hope things are a bit better with the family now mate.

Lol Jim, yeah nursing wasn\'t a good hobby anyway! Apparently I don\'t have a good bedside manner when I\'m tying traces ;) :o

I bought a RT Superior bass rod 2 years ago but find it a bit floppy unless its got about 3oz of lead on it, excellent distance with it though.
I think a decent model carp rod might be the way to go, but I\'m not sure which make or which test curve to go for?
