New rod

Right, I\'ve had the luck to come into a bit of cash and after some numpty broke my Penn Noreaster, which to be honest I never liked, I\'m in the market for a new rod. Don\'t want much, just something that can handle the rough stuff, but if I can\'t get onto that rock mark, can handle rat house corner or something.
Any recomendations? Will go upto £300.

PS Got a meeting in Felling on Friday pm and fancy some easy access fishing in the evening/night? Any recomendations?

they,ll save you money on the long beach too.
