New To The North East

Hi all,

I am moving to the North East for the first time ever and wanted to know more information about the area if possible. Moving from Gloucester to Alnwick and after many years away, I would like to start sea fishing again. Any tips or suggestions of where to fish and how ?

hi mate and welcome to the north east you are moving to a great area for fishing you have seahouses and amble not far away with some great marks berwick and eyemouth within travelling distance i live in washington having moved down from scotland if you need to know more about any marks just pm me if you want we can meet up some time and me and my mates will take you to some marks cheers tight lines

You'd probably be best off joining a sea angling club.

Hi Chris....Welcome to Gods Country....

There are actually two clubs locally, Alnwick SAC and Amble SAC....Both clubs have very friendly lads and would be a great starting point to help you understand local marks, tactics and baits.

I will definitely have a look at joining one of the local clubs, no doubt some good tips/advice and hopefully banter too
