hi dean and welcome
normaly we park up at the port enterance and fish next to the outlet pipe through the gap in the wall ,about 20 yards or so north of the pipe is a canny patch,i think jims had some canny catches up there ,im sure he mentioned a pollock but it might have been a typo
Welcome to NESA Dean. Yes Both my mate and myself had a Pollack from there. North end of the beach is a great spot. A bit further down is Meggie\'s burn another great spot but I will only fish there with company as it can be a bit dodgy.
As Davy says the toilets at the middle of the beach is a great mark at low water and the south end Sluice beach is great at low water also. It used to be a great high water mark too but the holes that were close in have gone.
It pays to keep checking as the holes keep moving.
If you wear waders don\'t go plodging there Ian, some really strong currents round there and sometimes some deep holes close in. My mate would tell you better if he was home lol, he had a lucky one there.
