Veals are selling them at £50...very tempting - apparantly all the "Top" Boat match-men use them (if such angling progs are to be believed)

I've bought an Okuma Titus Gold ,it's a bit bling but should do the trick over the wrecks.

Keep it very clean Steve mate, mine knacked after not very long. Only ever used it wreck fishing. Got to send it to Okuma in cornwall for a refurb. Just gonna cut me losses and buy a daiwa SL 500...probs get me sel a new road when am there...

Got a new pirk mould (thanks Allan ) looking forward to trying these 7oz ones on a light rod

They work great Keith, i been using them from the same mould for about 4 years.

I find the 7oz-10oz ones work best the 12oz one never had much luck, find the fish seem to grab it but not get the hook, did try the single hook at top and treble at bottom but never made much difference.

Asked the same question last year...ended up buying a Solid Carbon Fladen rod and have to say I think it's flipping fantastic rod

...scouting around for a new Toy for this year..had my eye on this

Eventually bought this...will hopefully receive it this week...I'm guessing it'll only be worth using over totally slack water coz it'll prob only take 6oz of lead

They are really good rods like - well worth a look for those wanting something a bit different...used leads up to 1lb on mine last year - but it's the most comfortable with 10oz

...am toying with also maybe buying a butt pad this year (stop sniggering at the back )
