Nice one mate, it's an 18ft "Icelander 18", solid boats. I had onewhen I first came to Royal Quays before Slinky Kate, it had been modified and fitted with an inboard BMW on a Drve leg.
Prefer the outboard though, inboard took up most of the deck
That's a great pic Norm, Allan has never stopped working on it since he got it a week ago, new deck fitted, windows removed, etc... there's a big improvement already...
No hanging about with you Alan not be long and it will be covered in macky blood nd scales lol looks like you have half of machine mart in your cabin lol
Allan had been down since 8.00 this morning and had the opening prepped ready to hang the sliding door....... I got there at 11.00..
After a few hours the new door was on and sliding nicely....
Allans still got a load of fibre glassing to do to the left of the door, and also to the console in the cabin, after we decided to get rid of the flat front and put a sloping front on for the new steering wheel and helm unit...
Cheers lads for positive vibes ,looking forward to the finish but the way the weather and fishing is just taking time and make sure it will be right.
Had great help from Chris (The Jester) work well as a team, comes up with good ideas.
