Why not cast over grass and get them measured so people can see how good these rods are that you test .It's hard for people to judge if you know what i mean when they cannot see the lead land.Just a thought mate
Nice video as normal mate, just a quick question does all that underwhipping and tip tape not kill the recovery of your rod?
Also if your away from the seafront you might be able to hear the commentary better
Just a thought

i asked the same question in a prior video, when paul as an unexplained crack off , personally putting high build over the last 2 foot of the tip is some thing i would not do , it will affect the recovery of the rod , leading to crack offs etc, it is all so well known under whipping a rod especially the tip will slower the action of the rod, thats why tournament casters now just tape light weight rings on there rod ,i have a m4 gt which as very light weight rings on and no under whipping and the action is a lot quicker compared to a friends m4 gt which is under whipped through out.
Do you think it matters stewart on such a powerfull rod which has a thickish tip compared to say a really fine tip.on really slim lightweight rods like a profile or syncrho I can agree, but on m427's n zeteques etc surely not....Just wondered what you thought m8,not wanting to debate it or owt lol, cheers hh![]()
What diameter line were you using please mate to cast the boat reels ?
Thank you in advance
