Welcome to Nesa mate

I have an RT Axe and can second they are a good rough ground rod. Have to say I am surprised with £150 to spend and 20 replies to your thread no one has thrown the new Icon Ultra Power into the mix, from reports and talking to lads who have them they are a good bit of kit

Hey thanks for all the welcomes and advice/ replies guys ! what a welcome thanks ! After much research from all my replies I'm opting for the Icon Ultra Power 2nd hand recommended by berwick costing just over a £100 with plenty money left for other bits and bobs :). Again, thanks for helping out :)

Do not pay 100 quid for a second hand ultra power!!! Worth probs 80 in mint condition!!
For 100 you may aswell go for a new m-sport[/QUOTE

the rod is mint condition and fished only a few times. Bit confused about the whole Leeda range at the mo. Ultra seems to fit my needs for rough/mixed ground and I'm quite happy with the buy ...... at the moment lol. after this winters season i'll know more.

They are lovely rods mate.. Fairly stiff! The only reason I wouldn't pay 100 is because they were only 120 new.. And the new model (m-sport) are around 140 and apparently even better!

See, Leeda more confusion for me ..... m sport range has too many rods for my knowledge at the mo, but i'll cast with what I've bought and see what santa brings for the winter ..... lets see how I go lol. Thanks tho the info much appreciated mate and taken on board.
