next time u try newbiggin with a spinning rod paul m8 give the beacons a go on the flood up2 high water. float fish a head hooked rag worm or fish a spinner or a jellyworm, sandeel ect. ive had some nice pollock from the beacons around 4-5lb. long walk across golfcourse 2 the point, also good when the macky's r in.

well good luck paul m8. also had pollock on crab baits fished on the bottom from the beacons.
