Anyone else fishing it? Better than sticking a tenner down a lapdancers kecks. (err no it\'s not, better chance of fish)(Pissed). A few of us will be milling around the prize table waiting for it to kick off. Or failing that the raffle.

First time i have seen the weather forecast this week and it says its a wash out for sunday with rain and gales. If i was fishing the comp i would go to a river and bag up on flonder, whiting and just size codling..not the most sporting way of doing it but its safer, you will catch fish and you will come back not as weather beaten.

Sure the rock fishing lads withh chew me out over this one :)

Rich, if you were a football manager you\'d have 10 players stood in your own goalmouth and a striker with a machine gun.

sorry that\'s Steve McLaren

Comp news, fished the Beacons, between four of us, armed with local worm: lug, red and white rag, fresh and frozen peeler and all of the other bits. Not a fucking jot! 2 knocks between us. And 3 away from the bottle in raffle.

Fished newbiggin comp weighed in 1 codling for 1lb 8 and a half oz managed to get on the prize table just lol Caught from church point seen nothing else pulled in. Just while iam on this subject is it really worth risking your life to get on that little island just off church point seen quite a few wading through chest height in water boxes, bags rod stands buckets etc... one slip and your gone. Anyway well done to the winners of the comp had a good day see you at the next 1
