newbiggin on sunday

alright lads, i would be glad of any help, as i`m going to fish newbiggin on sunday with a local fishing club, (heard there is an open on then as well). i would be greatfull for any advice on places to fish and spiecies to aim for at this time of year.

Definatly fishing the Newbiggin open comp 2mora. 3 ov us coming up from South Shields, will be at the registration point for it starting coz we\'re heading to the north end ov the boundarys. Ill be the one with a monster hangover coz im at a engagement party 2nite!!!

Does anybody know what the results were of this comp. We were going to go back to the weigh in but 1 of the lads had 1 of his funny turns and decided to keel over just as we came off the rocks at Newton by the sea! We had nowt to weigh in but a lad fishing next to us had a couple ov nice codling was wondering how he got on.

none of the lads i was with caught anything either. i fished dulce scarrs and lobster wells, it was very heavy kelp. no idea what the result was.
