Couldent be helped no imfo last year m8 when picking dates just managed to change dates for seaham town council open this year another clash with sunderland open new date s.t.c. open 15th december big turn around (no prize table £500 1st prize £350 2nd prize £250 3rd prize £100 4th prize also managed to increase junior/lady's/disabled,to £50 each hope this works as this comp has made a loss for many years in the past entry now £10 all classes and the optionals /£2 pairs/£1 h.a.c./£1 sealed weight all 100% payouts good luck to all;)

A lot depends on the tides available, south of the Tyne usually fish high water and a week later the north of the Tyne fish over low water but if the tides don't fall that way then clashes will occur.

So many opens these days....for me I just pick the ones that cover the area I like to fish, that I can fit in my time table. There are three "evening opens" this year, plus all the regular sunday ones, plus I try and fish two full club calendars - there's hardly any time for pleasuring these days (plus the costs soon add up!).

Gary :)
