I,ve only ever fished one compo in my life and that was when we were kids me and my mate (who later joined the paras called him Nosha) went to Gourock.We went with a club in Hartlepool.
I remember Jim Dobie caught a fish and qaulified for a prize.(surprise)
Must have been 30 years ago.
I cast a 100 feet. and the line stopped just sort of ten feet out. I also saw the massive nuclear subs passing by.

Also discovered Tenants lager i remember the cans had scantily clad lasses on in bikinis. Happy days them.

One of these days i will enter another.
