hi every one i have been fishing the tyne the past couple of days but don't no any of the good spots a was just fishing not far past the millenium bridge and got swarmed by eels.

Was at Carpthone last nyt flattys and eels too

The further up the river you go Andrew the more eels and flounders you will get.... you still get them down the river near to the river mouth but there are more different species aswell. You can still pull the odd codling etc out from around the Copthorne hotel too though so just depends on what your wanting to put up with and how far you can travel!
