Hi all, I was out last Saturday with poor fishing for all and only one fish brought in. We all used baited hokkai with various baits. This is my first year going out on boats, I understand that macky move to warmer waters. I enjoy going out fish or no fish, work allowing. Are fish stilling being caught ? There is limited info posted. I would like to give uptiding a bash any advice info re weights rigs and technique? Hoping to get out this week coming if I can providing I can find someone going out.

Thanks all in advance

Hi There

Due to the weather it is harder in winter and a lot of lads give up, but the results can be just as good in the winter. For a trip and local advice see this post here
