night fishing for plaice

as plaice tend to go for ragworm beads is it a sight thing with them ,realy what i am asking has anyone had much success fishing for them during darkness is it as good as daylight ?.

i honestly think more a day time fish even though you do still get a few at night a couple of year ago we would target them doing really well through the day then as darkness falls everything would go quiet every time.

done well on rag and lug at night just off the old pool at tynemouth if that helps
