Night fishing marks with lamp posts?

The wind at the Walkway is mad.
We went down for our regular Friday night there and we are home already.
Rods going over, wind pulling us into snags and no bite detection at all.
We'll have a go another day and have a few drinks tonight instead.

no matter what you try in darkness friend baiting up traces etc you need a light get out there and get one pronto :question: its honestly the first thing i put in my box

i decided to give it a miss with the wind....glad i did now
It was pretty bad but some lads were still there, not many though. Saw a few on the Groyne, must have been as bad there. I don't usually pack in as quick but I fish for pleasure and I was Not enjoying it at all. Gutted really as I had been looking forward to it all week.

had 2 many tins me and my m8 decided 2 fish lake side we set up just in car park lounge door cast into lake good lights comming off leam lane road not a bite but easy access 2 the bar

i wanted to go last weekend but full of cold so im definately going this weekend....planned for tonight then the bloody wind started :/ see what tomorrow brings eh

Lights at Brighams and Ferry landing area though some need new bulbs.
Aldi sells cheap head lamps for only a couple of quid - I keep two in my bag and have been using them for three years with no problems.
