no fish for ruby

for those that dont know,ruby is a new fishing pal,standing at 1.5 metres and rated at 100grm ruby can quite happly bounce a 17oz lead in 150 feet of water.

ruby comes from the yuki family and much tougher than she looks.

anyhoo the fishing,not a flippin fish in sight despite cover both ground and wrecks,water not so clean inshore but not too bad a few miles off.

despite lack of fish folks still seem keen enough to go:confused:,phoning to book/ask how it is though out the day

tomorrow sees ruby off to hartlepool on another challenge aboard Jim Glees north star.

lets hope ruby is christened the morro:D:D
 
Hope you do christen it tomorrow on northstar Duncan, you wouldn't have
today, dire to say the least, credit to Jim though, he took us to plenty marks, but the fish didn't want to play ball.
 
I bought won one today from moon fleet today it was £25 the bigger one I think I will christen it tomorrow at ss pier then Roker pier
