Non slip paint what to add

Hi
I'm in the process of getting as much of the loose floor paint up as possible,easier said than done I add. I managed to get my hands on some industrail floor paint 2 pac rubber compound ;-). its very waterproof but I have none of the additives to make it non slip. Any ideas out there.......
Ive heard sand but any ideas would be appreciated.

sharp sand is best it gives alot of traction just mixit in well and when you paint the floor stiffle it on so the paint sticks up

sharp sand - dry it thorughly in the oven for a bit first

you can buy proper glass beads that do the same job sand is definitely cheaper!

what colour pint is it cos i might be able to get some granite chips of the industrial floor layers im working with but its a mix of black , white , and grey they use it in the kitchen floors with some kind of resin so they are non slip

Think its grey mate, they might be doing some work on me station floors soon so might be able to get me hands on the plastic beads they use. Might still take you up on the offer though. might be the same stuff the floorers are using its a 2 part mix.

get yourself a decent belt sander, that will take the paint off,

Some surfers sprinkle sugar onto the drying resin on their boards. Then when the board gets wet for the first time the sugar washes away leaving a grippy surface without any colour variation.

the granite chippings we use in the screeds will be too course for what you want.
sharp sand or silica sand might be your best bet.
put the 2 part mix down sprinkle the sand and brush off the next day.
