just starting to get in to fishing just want to no when is the best time to fish?

high tide or low tide

just b4 high or just before low

or does it really matter? just been down blyth and the weather is crap but still about 5 people fishing

every mark is different, they all fish best at different stages of the tide. i could be here all day listing venue's and the best tide stage. to start you off nearly all beaches and rock marks fish best 2 hours either side of low water. hope this helps.

join a club mate - you will very quickly learn all the answers to your questions and save yourself a lot of time in the process! not sure where you live but ther are the likes of tynemouth, whitley, seaton sluice to name a few...
