A source told me it was from the back a latimers around the rough kelp marks. A good shot which has chucked out 18lb bags of cod in the past. A point to note: if the nets are out dont fish it.

aye i nicknamed it but its actually the barrier on roker now i dont give a sh!t whever its closed or not when or if i do post any big fish cos it just makes the jealous heads more jealous cos they cannot get over and hurts more inside cutting and twisting like a sharp knife the pain is undescribable the same ones are trying to set an example to others by preaching catch and release but yet they show reports of bags of swh!ting and dabs with pics theyve took home for tea from a pleasure session ,come on is that sommit to teach the kids these days i think not ,and i dont blame no one for saying nowt about any marks they catch cos every fkr be there the next tide after the same fish thats already been caught pathetic way to think

I had 3 codlings for 9lb off the prom the other night, 2nd last bay, casting about 90 yards. Southerly swell on, as there is now. see yous all in the morning

As a beginner I really appreciate the reports and help on here. I also post my catch reports (good or bad) every time out in case it is of some help to the lads. Good forum this and I hope it continues.

Great fish btw, one day I will get one of those.
