I'm looking to go up north with a few friends tommorow like amble or surrounding areas in search of my first proper fish, I would like some help with a decent place to fish. Newbiggin lye mouth craster anywhere that is good a little aid on where would be best and what bait to use would be appreciated thanks lads

dont know about the marks you mentioned but the bait will be crab i bet :)
try doing a search on one of the marks youve mentioned im sure there will be a post on here some where telling the bits you need to know

nice sea's 4cast m8 might b thick of weed all over with it b-ing the 1st big sea's of the season,
i'd head 4 newbiggin, hadston, hauxley, amble & foxton ect if at night. if daylight i'd just stick 2 newbiggin but not big tides at the mo,low water head 4 quarry hole of below the cliffs on the coffin rocks or bull rock. crab, lug & mussel. it might even pay 4 ya 2 take some old smelly baits if u have them like old crab or mussel, razor ect.

Ok mate nice 1 none of these marks you mentioned are isolated when the tide comes in like camels island in south shields

hi m8

hi m8

i live in newbiggin i have been told there is a bit sea running i would go to the bottom of the cliffs if your fishing tonight if high water i would go to the top but be very carefull when your up there

personaly m8 ad give the top of cliffs a miss it dont matter how carefull you are if the cliffs gona drop it will and if your on top theres nawt you can do bout it how ever careful you can fish quarry hole at high tide there was fish at the bottom of cliffs last nite also quite a few at lynemouth down from gypsy camp its a bit heavy but that would be my prefered choice tonight.
