Had an hour introducing my cracking little Glaswegian nephew (6) to fishing while me Mam read the paper in the car. As all first time young anglers he was more interested in the ragworm especially after he was given the traditional speech about them having nippers and being able to draw blood. Couple or three chusks for nowt. The lads fishing right up next to the boats were gettin the odd coalie. Had a lush meal in the Italian to the left of the big chip shop. Highlight was watching peoples reactions to Aidans coat. He was cold so I lent him my short wading jacket that was in the back of car, just next to the kitchen sink. Fit him perfectly lengthwise but the sleeves were dragging on the floor. I could hear people thinking "God Bless Him, who bought him that for his Christmas, I hope they kept the receipt"
Other notable moments - £1.10 to get through the tunnel now, that'll be fun on monday.
Seeing Mr Billy in Billy's, good lively worm and an invite to start co***arse fishing.
That was my fishing report
