:D the tld 15 was well christened today with 7 codlings to keep,nae monsters but hard fighting fash in shallow water:D
put the imax"teabag" suit on today for the event,but didnt manage to get on camera:( my fish were taken on daylites baited with prawn,although other folks had cod on other baits,mackarel squid and rag.

some decent whiting taken along with a few mackarel.

saw a new species,which i had never even heard of "poly" summat,think jim posting pic later.it was well ugly,nearly as ugly as chris the deck swabber:exclam:(thanks for the tea chris:exclam:
conditions started quite lumpy,but flattened off as we went further oot,water mucky.

few canny lads on the boat,craic was good as ever:exclam: look forward to the next call of the sea:exclam::exclam:
 
Where did u go out from m8. Seen a boat going out from Tyne about 10. Couldn't believe it. Made my stomach turn just watching it in todays sea! Ha. Brave lads!
 
Well done Duncan , I've got a new reel winging it's way to me as we speak :confused: type :rolleyes: whatever :D , I'm looking forward to spooling it up and christening it ......... probably be April before it sees a cod with my luck lately though :(

might have been worth it mate as i said on the other thread its a sea scorpion or the local name of granny fish the current british record is ( Sea Scorpion 2lb 3oz 0 drm caught in 1973 by R Stephenson, Gt Cumbrae Island, Scotland ) so you never know it looked a canny size :D:D
