First time out on Northstar and from the off found jim and chris , very friendly ,helpful,and full of advice as we are a bunch of lads with 4 never been on a boat and 4 of us trying to rekindle our passion for sea fishing.Anyway to the fishing, rough ground order of the day.Very patchy , mackeral and whiting all day if you wanted em, we picked upthe odd cod up to 7 pound and one of the newbies had a nice ling getting on for 8 pounds so he over the moon, another of the newbies had a nice cod and a good haddock so he also grinning from ear to ear,jim tried his hardest to put us on a steady stream of fish and chris hard at work with the tangles .All in all a good and very enjoyable day ,plenty of banter and for a change the sun made an appearance, deffo be back.See you soon lads but sorry chris you cant have the pink rod !.
