Out with Jim yesterday, another cracking day with plenty fish been caught, lost count of how many keepers we had but everyone on board went home with a good bag of cod each, there was a couple decent size ling caught and a few little ones aswell which all went back, all the better size fish were caught on pink hokkies baited with prawn and squid.

What ever happened to "Steve no fish?" I liked him better than "Steve loads of fish!"

I will have to up my game when I come in July, because the fish Gods are smiling on Steve. Mind you he deserves it for all the time and effort he put in, even when things weren't going his way. Good on you mate.

Seriously though, call over mine if the stock is running low and I have about half a dozen I wont be using anytime soon. Coast Road (Horden) next to me has them in usually along with whites, blacks, blues.

What happened is, I pulled in a nice cod, Jim netted it, I took it out of the net and put it in box, got baited back up but before I dropped down I went
to knock the fish on the bonce, got hold of the fish, went to club it with priest, the fish seen what was about to happen and took a fit as the priest was bairing down on it, result was, missed the fish and smacked hand with priest, bloody painful, but it put a smile on everyone`s faces.
