we wasnt gonna be beaten and disheartened by a poor couple hours and decided to head another 40-50 miles further north we hit st abbs for the rest of the day ,as usual big rod set up big baits on left out whilst ledgering for some wrasse i took around 4-5 in an hour also big coalies 2lb+ some times you cudnt get threw them not giving the wrasse time to take the bait with ragworm ,at this time stu was happy with the float off the front trying for pollock he lost sommit big which snapped his line on the barnicles deep down the side ,i had some good sport on the spinner taking odd pollock and loosing a couple nice ones close in and again big coalies i kept 6 which are for fishcakes amazing how much meat came off them and also around 50 mackerel hoying loads back kept 20 for the freezer and also did stu all filleted for an easier climb back up (was it heck) just got back up as it got dark enjoyed the day up the borders once again

sorry for lack of pics too busy enjoying the sport :)
