Just got back tonight form Skarsundet. We only managed three doublers with the heaviest at 17 lb 12 ozs from Stews Point. No fish from Straumen after two nights trying. Looks like you's caught them all last week. A very well done on your catching and reports.

I'm not suprised the fish were returned by the looks of them they would prob take the priest off yi and smack you back lol

Said it before on another forum but really nice report of your week and well done on getting them out.
I was over there last october with Deans and co, and like he said the cod just didn,t turn up. I was hoping for a double and it didn,t happen but the haddock and scenery etc still made it a great place to visit.

You got doubles, one after another and huge whales on top...bet you still can,t believe it. Bet The biggies made Phil's eyeballs bulge as well:D:D:D

Marty, it sounds a bit like what anglers hear every day " you should have been hear yesterday"

On a more serious note, apart from the lack of biggies how was the fishing in general ?
